Mishra Reader is a Google Reader client developed using WPF with focus on ergonomy and smooth animations.
MishraReader has now been converted to use Git. Please fork away and if you have bug fixes, features, update, submit a pull request and I can merge it in.
BETA 7 is out!!
If the Download button doesn't work for you,
This release adds support for displaying uncategorized feeds. They'll appear on left underneath any existing categories.
It's been a long time since beta 2, but rest assured, Mishra Reader is still alive! The team has been very busy with "real life" - I know, what's that? :)
The top major enhancement in beta 3 is the much-requested return of per-feed viewing. There’s also been a ton of bug fixes, including handling categories with a ‘#’ in the name, support for Google app login’s and ensuring that the
unread count doesn’t hit that –1 bug.
As always, there’s lots more work to do and hopefully we’ll be able to get more frequent releases out as features are implemented and bugs are fixed.
One important note is that due to numerous performance and feature enhancements in .NET 4.5, Mishra Reader has moved onto it. If you don't already have it, the ClickOnce installer will prompt you to install it first. As of today, this is the .NET 4.5 Release
Candidate and is fully supported in production with a "Go Live" license. It will be upgradable to the RTM once ready. For those of you using the Windows 8 Release Preview, you already have the prerequisites and have nothing else to install.
Get it while it’s hot!
